Paul Wood qualified as a solicitor in 2000 and has been practising as a Higher Courts Advocate since 2006. Paul has a vast amount of experience as both an advocate and in the preparation of serious and complex cases. He has also regularly appeared before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division), including:
1. R v W [2009] EWCA Crim 2858;
2. R v Caley [2012] EWCA 282;
3. R v Shaun Doyle [2018] EWCA Crim 2198; and
4. R v JJ & KS [2020] EWCA Crim 381.
Paul appears before the Crown Court daily. He has defended in cases of murder, serious sexual offences, drugs, and violence. Paul has developed a well-established defence practice and enjoys dealing with people from all walks of life.
