Simon Christie is a longstanding member of Chambers who has been practising at the Criminal Bar for over 30 years. Simon defends and prosecutes serious and general crime at every level. He is a Category 4 Prosecutor and has held this position since 1998. He is also a member of the specialist panel for Serious Crime and Rape, and Child Sexual Abuse.
Simon graduated with Honours in his LLB from the University of Liverpool and undertook his Bar Exams at the Inns of Court School of Law prior to being called in 1988. Simon is a strong supporter of the legal charities Liberty and Justice. He has also been a Pupil Supervisor multiple times over the last 20 years. He is well known for his persuasive advocacy and down to earth approach with clients from all backgrounds.
